super-duper futuristic things to do with on-line multi-media, but
about the basic, essential issues: why people learn languages and
how they learn them. A conference that prompts such reflections

November 10 & 11, 2001, NetLearn Solutions hosted an online-only
conference for teachers of English as a Foreign/Second Language
entitled
ELT: Evolution of Learning & Teaching
Full
recordings (archives) of the conference are now available on
this website and on CD-ROM.
Presenters
and conference participants took part in the conference from their
own geographical locations. Presentations were webcast live, meaning
participants were able to hear the speaker, view materials previously
submitted by the presenter on this website, engage in text-chat
with the presenter and other conference delegates and more. All
live presentations were recorded and have now been made available
in the Conference Area of the website along with the corresponding
materials.
